Qualifications for the SM Foundation College Scholarship
- You are a public high school graduate.
- You are a private high school graduates with DepEd voucher after completing Grade 10 from public schools
- You belong to a household with P150,000 or less household income per year. Your parents will need to submit a BIR Income Tax Return or certificate of exemption as proof.
- Your Grade 12 weighted average grade must be at least 88% in the second or third grading period
If you meet the qualifications above, you now need to prepare all these requirements to apply for the SM college scholarship.
SM Scholarship Requirements
- Submit photocopy of Grade 12 report card.
- Submit photocopy of BIR Income Tax Return or Certificate of Non-filing of Income Tax or Certificate of Indigency.
- Bring ballpen since you will take an exam.
- You must wear complete uniform with ID during the screening.

- BS in Mechanical Engineering
- BS in Elementary Education
* BS in Secondary Education major in Biology, Chemistry, English, Mathematics, Physics
SM Scholarship Exam Schedule
Check the list below for the schedule of screening and exam for the SM scholarships applicants this 2020. SM Foundation will also conduct screening and examination in the provinces.
The exam schedules for 2020 for Metro Manila, Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao will be updated on this new post – 2020 – 2021 SM COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP.
Again, be early at the venue because you will take an exam. Those who will pass the examination, will be invited for an interview in the same afternoon.

Hi Jewel, in the designated area inside the mall. Example: for SM Cebu it will be at their Convention Hall. For other SM Malls, you can inquire from the guards when you get their on screening/exam date.

Can someone directly walk-in to examination hall even without the online application?

Yes, since walk-in applicants are accepted. But you need to submit ALL requirements first at the designated table manned by the screening officers before you can proceed to take the exam.
