Philpost Mail and Packages – New Guidelines for Claiming and Door-to-Door Delivery

Good news! Most of Philpost offices are now open nationwide ready to serve you.

However, while the country is still under health emergency and there are ECQ and quarantine areas, Philpost is following these updated guidelines and procedures in mail and package claiming and door to door delivery.

1. Selected Philpost Offices shall open only three (3) times a week, every TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY, with OPERATING HOURS from 10 AM to 3 PM (4 hours only).

2. For mails with contact numbers (cellphone / telephone numbers, or e-mail address), addressees may claim their mails directly at the post office.

iSensey recommends that if you plan to go to the post office, it’s best to call them first to ascertain if your mail or package is already available for pick-up.

3. Door-to-door delivery of mails shall be based on priorities like vital communications such as those from SSS, GSIS and other institutions containing pensions, checks / loans, etc.

4. Subject to existing local community quarantine protocols, post office may coordinate with Barangay officials for the delivery of mails.

PHILPOST TRACKING

If you are expecting a mail or package, tracking it is possible via the website of Philpost.

Hi Mark, first to ask yourself is are you expecting a package? May nagsabi ba na may ipapadala sayo?

Second, if it’s Philpost who is holding a package, then the claiming should be in a Philpost branch, not NAIA.

Third, open the email again check the actual sender’s address. Is it really Philpost?

Hi , I have a package that was mailed out from the post office in Cebu and the post master told my friend that it was on a ship to Guam . I found out 2 weeks later that is not the case , it’s in pasay now waiting for shipping ? I emailed you guys and someone did respond and told me that they are a standby with mail because of this COVID pandemic. I understand but I asked when will it be able to ship and I didn’t get any response ? They gave me an option to have the sender retrieve the package back or wait . It’s been since Jan 27 when shipped from Cebu post office . Can someone there please give me an idea of when will it be to ship out to Guam ? Thank you .

I have a package coming from Hongkong. When i track my package, it says “receive item at delivery office.” Will Philpost deliver it to my address or should i receive at the Philpost office? Thank you so much.

Hi Gio, you will need to claim it at the post office. Usually what will happen is that a postman will drop by your place to give you a slip indicating that you have a package waiting to be claim. But our advise is to go direct to post office as soon as you can, don’t wait for the notice to arrived at your place, especially as you’ve sais the tracking status indicate package is in the postal office now.

From Japan to Nueva Ecija? I’ll be using Air Registered Small Package.

I already emailed, message them on their Instagram, Twitter and Facebook account. Also tried calling their telephone number kaso no response.

Hi Jen, ang alam namin hindi nag door to door philpost. May pupunta lang na kartero sa bahay to give a notice slip then ang recipient na ang pupunta sa post office to claim parcel.

Hello I also have a package but until now it’s in transit. Last update is April 29 until now I didn’t get my updates yet. What should I do? This will be my first time to have a package from US. And it’s just an envelope so it wouldn’t take long to deliver that’s what my partner says. Thank you.
