Find BDO ATM Card Account Number – 5 Ways of Finding

Did you forget your BDO ATM savings account number and you want to make a deposit? Or perhaps you want to get your ATM card account number so someone else can deposit or transfer money to your BDO account?

Whatever the reason why you are now looking for guide on how to find BDO ATM card account number, we hope that this iSensey post will be able to assist you.

Find BDO ATM Card Account Number

There are different ways of getting your BDO ATM card account number even if the account no. is not indicated or missing in the BDO ATM card itself. How? Here’s the options in finding the needed account no. :

  1. Dig up a copy of a previous deposit slip – search for the initial deposit slip or any other validated deposits slip copies that you may still have. Your Banco De Oro account number is indicated on the form.
  2. If your BDO account is a savings passbook with ATM, get your passbook and check the account number indicated therein.
  3. You can log-in to BDO online banking to see your account number.

*This is only applicable if you have previously registered your account to BDO online banking.

Here is a sample:

Get BDO Account No from online banking

  1. Visit any BDO branch, bring your ATM card and a valid ID, and then request for your account number.
  2. If you don’t have access to options 1,2,3 and can’t go to a BDO branch, there is still a way for you to get your BDO ATM Debit account number and that is by calling the BDO Hotline.

The BDO call center personnel will ask you several questions to establish and verify your identity. One of the questions will be what is your BDO ATM Card number.  Check the front of your card to see the 16-digits card number.

Once your identity is completely verified, the BDO personnel will be able to give you the account number connected to your BDO ATM card.

BDO International Toll-free number: (IAC) +800-8-6318000

BDO Domestic Toll-free number: 1-800-10-6318000

*The BDO ATM Debit card savings account number IS NOT THE SAME as the 16-digits BDO ATM card number.

Hope this helps in your banking transactions.

Is it safe to give my name and account number to third party for payment? Thanks

Hi Zephi, yes it’s safe and you really need to give your account number and name if you are the seller and someone wants to pay you. BUT do not give your atm card number (the numbers written on the front of the card) and the CIV number at the back.

Hi! good day, I saw some article saying that : NEVER NEVER GIVE ACCOUNT NUMBER, instead provide the CARD NUMBER AND 3 PIN CODE….
and I’m confused.. I guess this article is true than that one

          Hi secret,

If you want someone to deposit to your account, you have no choice but to give your account number, this is required by the banks to facilitate the transaction. BUT do not disclose your card number (front) AND the 3 numbers at the back to someone else. Why not? This is because if someone has your front card number AND the 3 CIV numbers at the back, he or she can already used your card to pay for transaction online especially if you did not activate second-factor authentication.

*Example: You will buy a Cebu Pacific promo fare ticket and you will pay using your debit atm card; in the SECURED payment page of Cebu Pacific, the system will ask you to input the account name, card number + expiration date + CIV number (3 digits at the back). It is okay to input there because you know it is the SECURED payment system of Cebu Pacific that is asking it, not an actual person.

Now, if someone will ask you to provide your front card number and the CIV number at the back, magtaka ka na bakit hinihingi. Puede na nya magamit card mo lalo na if alam nya full name mo.

Hi Agnes, when it comes to online transaction, these two conditions must be meet at all times:
      1. Reputable ba ang seller, company, store? You need to check customer feedback and reviews on this. Pag oo ang sagot. Go to no 2.
      2. Is the site fully encrypted? Meaning sa browser nakikita mo ba yung word na “Secure” at “https”? or di kaya name ng store na naka-green? If oo, yes, puede mo i-enter ang credit card/debit card details there to process your transaction. Pag walang ‘secure” wag na wag mo ilagay details ng cc mo.
Example 1: Secured and site is fully encrypted naka “https”: https://www.screencast.com/t/I9B6kddZ
Example 2: Site has a company name in GREEN font color and features “https”: https://www.screencast.com/t/j99GsIg76

pag wala either of the two, we advise wag nalang ituloy ang transaction.

Hi James, what we know is that BDO cash cards are not allowed for online enrollment. But if you have an active BDO account, you can add-in your cash card.

What if the scenario is this? You dont have the physical card with you , you also dont have a copy of your account number? Is it okay if you just present a valid ID in getting your account number?

    • iSensey says

      February 22, 2018 at 10:06 am

Hi Leony, yes, but you need to go to the branch where you open your account. They will have your file on hand – personal info, the picture you submitted during account opening, your signature, and thus, can establish your identity.

*If you plan to withdraw cash from your ATM account via over the counter, you may need to speak with a higher officer in the branch to get approval since per our experience, over the counter atm withdrawal needs you to present your card. But if for deposit purposes only, we see no problem, you can just get your account number from the staff upon presentation of your ID.

Im an online seller can I use my bdo cash card account number to transfer payment?

    • iSensey says

      June 15, 2018 at 9:20 pm

Hi Juleane, as far as we know, you can’t do fund transfer because cash card accounts are not allowed to register for online banking. But you can receive online fund transfer from a bdo regular account to your cash card account. But to be 100% sure, call the branch where you open to get answers straight from them.

Is account number can be found at any ATM? If yes?, what kind of transaction should I do?

    • iSensey says

      July 29, 2018 at 9:50 am

Hi Nathaniel, nope, the account number is not listed in any transaction using the ATM machine. The best you will get is the last 4 digits of the account number if you do Inquiry or Withdtawal.

It’s the card number but if someone wants to deposit money sa BDO cash card account mo, he/she will RELOAD your cash card using the number on the front. Walang separate na account number ang cash card.

Hi Weannie, yes, walang account number ang cash card. If may magsesend sayo ng money at may BDO online banking access sya, login lang sya then click “Pay and Reload” then click “BDO Cash Card Reload” then input all numbers on the front of your cash card then amount and send.

Hi! Thank you for your posts, they’re very helpful!
Are there other ways I can deposit money in my debit card other than through the account number?
Is it possible to use my ATM (debit) card number instead in depositing money on that ATM card instead?
