Make sure to have your vote counted this coming 2019 Election!
If you just reached voting age, or need to transfer your Comelec registration, or wants to reactivate your voter’s registration, comply with the listed requirements.
Comelec will process applications from Monday to Saturdays from 8 AM to 5 PM in all its branches.
There are select satellite voting registration happening all over the country. Check if there is one nearest you or go direct to the Comelec branch that covers your residence.
COMELEC REQUIREMENTS
Prepare and bring the ORIGINAL and a photocopy of ANY 1 of the following government IDs and/or documents which clearly state your residential address:
- STUDENT ID OR LIBRARY CARD
- EMPLOYEE’S ID
- POSTAL ID
- SENIOR CITIZEN’S ID
- DRIVER’S LICENSE
- BIR ID
- NBI CLEARANCE
OR you may also bring ANY 1 of the following BUT along with it you must bring Proof of Billing that is under your name.
Example 1: You will bring valid passport and post-paid Smart Bill which shows your name and address.
Example 2: You will bring SSS UMID plus electricity bill under your name.
- PASSPORT
- SSS/GSIS ID
- I.B.P. ID
- P.R.C. ID
These IDs and documents are not allowed and will not be accepted by COMELEC namely: cedula, barangay clearance, homeowners’ association id and police clearance.
COMELEC CORRECTION OF ENTRIES
Aside from processing new registration, transfer, and reactivation, COMELEC also processes Change and Correction of Entries.
BRING PSA BIRTH CERTIFICATE or TCA from LOCAL CIVIL REGISTRAR – If your voter’s registration record contains error(s) like misspelled first name, middle name, last name. Wrong birth date indicated, wrong birth place, or any typographical errors. Go to COMELEC and bring original copy of the Birth Certificate from PSA or from CTC from Local Civil Registrar.
BRING PSA MARRIAGE CONTRACT or COURT ORDER – If you changed your name because of marriage or by virtue of a court order. Bring Original PSA Marriage Conract.
BRING CENOMAR – If you changed your civil status from Married to Single.
Visit www.comelec.gov.ph for all things related to voter’s registration and election.
Remember that per DFA.gov.ph official website of the Department of Foreign Affairs, you can use the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) Voter’s ID or Voter’s Certificate as a VALID ID for passport application.
Yes, it means you can present your Voter’s ID card to DFA when you apply for passport for the first time, renewal, etc..
Not only is the COMELEC Voter’s registration needed so you can vote during election but once you are issued a Voter’s ID you can use this in legal transactions that requires government ID.
Register in Comelec before deadline!!! Don’t wait for the last day of application for new registration, transfer of residence, and reactivation, or even correcting of entry errors on your record with the Commission on Elections.

Hindi napo ba pwedeng mag apply ng voters transfer nagyong taon..kasi last month nagbigay na sila ng last registration sa Palawan Puerto princesa city..malayo panaman po election..salamat
