Security Bank Human Switch Kit – Innovative Customer Service

I’m currently banking with BDO, BPI, and Unionbank. Lately though, I have been thinking of opening an account with Security Bank. I’ve checked on their Savings passbook product last month, and today I’ve checked again.

Lo and behold, what I found on their website. A banking innovation! The Human Switch Kit!

My background is in sales, so I totally appreciate this marketing strategy of Security Bank. If you can’t go to the branch to open an account for whatever reason, the bank will come to you through the Human Switch personnel. The Customer wins!

Human Switch Kit Open Account Security Bank

*Yesterday, I opened a new passbook savings account with BDO – their Optimum Savings product. I first thought of opening in Security Bank but because their branch is out of the way from where I reside, and there is a closer BDO, I’ve chosen to open in BDO. I should have checked Security Bank’s website again yesterday, I would definitely try out this service. But hopefully soon, I’ll have enough funds to open a Security Bank ALL ACCESS account via their Human Switch Kit.

I’ve checked the FAQs of this new program of Security Bank and Trust Company that makes it easy to switch from your old bank to SB. And I am more impressed that based on their FAQs, processing is fast.

You sign-up for the Human Switch kit on Security Bank website, and the following banking day the bank promises that someone will call you up to arrange the meeting with you. Now, if the follow-through and actual experience of their would-be customer is as they claim, it won’t be surprising if more customers will switch because of the excellent customer service.

The Human Switch Kit of Security Bank only allows opening for the following account types:

  • All-Access Account
  • Easy Account
  • BusinessPlus Account
  • Build-Up Savings Account
  • Premium Build-Up Savings Account
  • One Savings Account
  • ISIC (for students only)

For specific account opening requirements of your chosen account type above, call Security Bank at (02) 8879 188. This way when you meet the Human Switch Kit, you are ready with your IDs and other requirements to facilitate smooth account opening.

Have you tried the Human Switch Kit of Security Bank? How was your experience? Please share!

Once I have enough funds again, I’ll try this service and will update this post.
