These are the initial Requirements for ALL those Interested to Apply to Basic Seaman Course, Marine Basic Course, and Naval Officer Candidate Course.

NSO Birth Certificate – Original and Photocopy

Transcript of Records – Original and Photocopy

College Diploma – Original and Photocopy (as applicable)

2 x 2 Colored ID picture with white background – 2 copies

Accomplished Application Form – completely filled-up

FOR THOSE WHO WANTS TO APPLY AS ENLISTED PERSONNEL

A. BASIC SEAMAN COURSE (BSC) – SAILOR

INITIAL REQUIREMENTS: Original and Photocopy of NSO Birth Certificate, Original and Photocopy of Transcript of Records, Original and Photocopy of College Diploma (as applicable), 2×2 colored ID Picture with white Background and Accomplished Application Form.

  • You must be a natural born Filipino citizen and of good moral character.
  • Age must be between 18 to 23 years old.
  • Unmarried and with no child support.
  • Holder of at least 72 units in college (preferably technical courses) or TESDA NCII (Technical Education and Skills Development Authority National Certificate II) or 2 year associate course or vocational course preferably electronics and communication, electrical, plumbing, mechanics, welding, aircraft maintenance aviation, and heavy equipment operators.
  • Height requirement at least 5 feet for both male and female.
  • Must not have any pending civil or criminal case.
  • Physically and mentally fit for training.
  • Must have complete four front (anterior teeth) and at least three molars (back teeth) on both upper and lower jaws.
  • Must pass the AFPSAT (AFP Service Aptitude Test) and IQ exams.

 

B. MARINE BASIC COURSE (MBC) – MARINE

INITIAL REQUIREMENTS: Birth Certificate (NSO), High School Diploma, Transcript of Records if at least 72 units in College and if high school graduate with TESDA Certificate, 2×2 Picture with white background.

  • Must be a Filipino Citizen and of Good Moral character.
  • Must be 18-23 years old.
  • Unmarried and with no child to support.
  • Holder of at least 72 units in college or graduate of any TESDA course (TESDA Certificate, Enrollment Report and Terminal Records)
  • Height of at least 5’4″ (male) and 5’2″ (female)
  • Must not have any pending civil / criminal case.
  • Physically, Mentally and Psychiological fit for military training.

 

FOR THOSE WHO WANTS TO APPLY AS NAVY OFFICER

A. NAVAL OFFICER CANDIDATE COURSE (NOCC) – SAILORS

INITIAL REQUIREMENTS: Original and Photocopy of NSO Birth Certificate, Original and Photocopy of Transcript of Records, Original and Photocopy of College Diploma, 2×2 colored ID Picture with white Background and Accomplished Application Form.

  • You must be a natural born Filipino citizen and of good moral character.
  • Age must be between 21 to 28 years old.
  • Unmarried and with no child support.
  • Graduate of a 4-year baccalaureate degree, preferably technical course.
  • Height requirement at least 5 feet for both male and female.
  • Must not have any pending civil or criminal case.
  • Physically and mentally fit for training.
  • Must have complete four front (anterior teeth) and at least three molars (back teeth) on both upper and lower jaws.
  • Must pass the AFPSAT (AFP Service Aptitude Test), IQ, and SWE Exams (Special Written Examination).

 

B. NAVAL OFFICER CANDIDATE COURSE (NOCC) – MARINES

INITIAL REQUIREMENTS: Birth Certificate (NSO), College Diploma, Transcript of Records and 2×2 Picture with white background

  • Must be a Filipino Citizen and of Good Moral character.
  • Must be 21-29 years old.
  • Unmarried and with no child to support.
  • Graduate of any baccalaureate degree.
  • Height of at least 5’4″ (male) and 5’2″ (female)
  • Must not have any pending civil / criminal case.
  • Physically, Mentally and Psychiological fit for military training.
  • Must pass the AFP Service Aptitude Test (AFPSAT), IQ and Special Written Examination (SWE).

 

PHILIPPINE NAVY PAY, ALLOWANCES AND BENEFITS

NOCC Pay and Allowance (Naval Officers Candidate Course) – SAILOR

  1. Basic pay of P29,945.00 for officer in the rank of Ensign with lots of opportunities for increases as may be promoted to the higher ranks up to Flag rank level.
  2. Additional monthly allowance of P5,750 pay
  3. Longevity pay benefit of 10% of current monthly base pay compounded every five years of active military service.

NOCC Pay and Allowance (Naval Officers Candidate Course) – MARINES

  1. Basic pay of Php 32,375.00 for officer in the rank of 2nd Lieutenant with lots of opportunities for increases as may be promoted to the higher ranks up to General level.
  2. Additional monthly allowance of Php 5,750 pay.
  3. Longevity pay 10% of the current monthly base pay compounded every five years of active military service.
  4. Cash gifts and bonuses.

BSC Pay and Allowance (Basic Seaman Course) – SAILOR

  1. Basic pay of P14,834.00 in the rank of Apprentice Seaman.
  2. Additional monthly allowance of P5,570 pay.
  3. Longevity pay – 10% of the current monthly base pay compounded every five years of active military service.
  4. Cash gifts and bonuses.

MBC Pay and Allowance (Marine Basic Course) – MARINE

  1. Basic pay of Php 16,215.00.
  2. Additional monthly allowance of Php 5,750 pay.
  3. Longevity pay 10% of the current monthly base pay compounded every five years of active military service.
  4. Cash gifts and bonuses.

More benefits for Navy Officers and Enlisted Personnel (SAILORS and MARINES)

– Meal allowance, housing and billeting facilities, job security, free medical and dental service (including dependents), insurance through AFPMBAI, SGTI, and AFPGIC, local/foreign scholarship (for qualified personnel in active military service), leadership and skills trainings, and more.

* Sailor and Marines – There may be opportunities to serve in international peacekeeping missions under the United Nation (UN).

 

Can Highschool graduates or high school level apply for the Philippine Navy? Based on the minimum requirement set by PH Navy, no. Many Filipinos are appealing to the government to lower the academic requirement to join the country’s navy, but as of 2018, applicants for BSC / MBC needs at least 72 units of college or TESDA NCII certification or 2 year vocational course graduate; and 4-year course graduate if applying for officer position.

NAVY EXAMINATIONS 2017

If you are taking the Philippine Navy exam this 2017, you must wear white tshirt and jeans tucked in and in proper haircut. Bring the following during the scheduled examination: test permit, pencil, 1 copy of 2×2 colored picture in white background.

HOW TO APPLY and WHERE TO PASS REQUIREMENTS for Philippine Navy

Visit the nearest Regional Recruitment Center in your area. Once you complete all required documents and papers, submit right away.

North and Central Luzon:  1st CRG – Camp Servillano Aquino, Tarlac City

Southern Luzon: 2nd CRG – Camp Nakar, Lucena City

Central Visayas – 3rd CRG – Camp Lapu – Lapu, Cebu City

Western Mindanao – 4th CRG – Camp Navarro, Calarian, Zamboanga City

Southern Mindanao – 5th CRG – Camp Panacan, Davao City

Western Visayas – 6th CRG – Camp General Antonio G. Ricarte, San Miguel, Puerto Princesa City, Palawan

    Good day sir , I’m 22 years old , malapit na ako mag 23 .nagtatrabaho po aq ngayon sa japan gusto q po mag apply sa philippine navy kaya ayaw q na pong iextend yung contract q. Pwede po ba un ?kasi parang ayaw ako payagan ng agency .

      Nasa sa inyo po yun if gusto niyo mag apply if pasok kayo sa requirements, pero remember po na hindi lahat ng applicants ay matatanggap sa Philippine Navy.

    * lahat po nang computer and part po nang IT kaya ko po!.

    gusto ko po sanang mag apply kaya lang bawal pag married po,
    gusto ko po sanang mag serbisyu sa gobyerno bilang isang sundalo, kasi po walang ibang trabaho na mass maganda keysa ipagtangol ang bansa sa mga terorista.,
    marami napo akung trabaho na narasan , lahat po technical officer, net work admin, gusto ko lang po sana pumasok nang sundalo, kung papayag po kayu, anytime po welling akung mag pass nang requirements basta matangap po yung status ko… kasi parang sudnalo rin ang trabaho ko dito, malayu palagi sa pamilya, maka uwi sa bahay sa isang taon 2 – 3 beses lang, . sana po makita nui po ang email ko.,

      Hi Jun, hindi po kami ang nagproprocess ng Navy applications. Pumunta po kayo sa Navy Recruitment Centers natin para i-appeal ang rule about not married, hindi po sure na mapagbigyan ka pero at least na try mo.

    Good day po.

    1st, ask ko lang po, pwede po ba magapply (walk in) sa Taguig? 2nd, gusto ko po malaman yung flow paano magapply. pasok po naman ako sa lahat ng recquirements ng navy. SALAMAT PO!
