Malacanang has declared the official list of Philippine holidays for 2018.
This is one of the most awaited proclamation of President Duterte especially for those who are planning to make the most of their long weekends and holidays for next year.
As early as now, Filipinos can plot their 2018 travel dates and to watch out for promo fares that coincides with the Regular and Special National Holidays.
Proclamation number 269 declares the Philippines regular and special (nonworking) days for 2018, this was signed by the President last July 17, 2017. The holiday list is also important because there is a premium paid to employees who will work on those declared dates.
Based on the list of Philippine holidays for next year, there are 9 long weekends come 2018. This number may increase if Eid’l Fitr and Eid’l Adha will fall on a Monday or Friday.
