JOB FAIRS Scheduled on MAY 1, 2018 for Labor Day

These are the upcoming JOB FAIRS notices received by the POEA Manpower Registry Division for Labor Day.

iSensey NEW POST for the Labor Day 2019 Job Fairs organized by DOLE. Around 200,000 jobs are available, local and overseas jobs.

Various centers in the country will be holding job fairs this every May 1. For 2018, venues are Cebu, Pampanga, Baguio, Ilocos Norte, Tarlac, Aurora, Quezon City, Davao City, Baler Aurora, and many more recruitment events scheduled on Labor Day 2018 holiday. Different organizers will be conducting these events.

Prepare yourself for interview possibility since some companies will be hiring on the spot during these scheduled job fairs.

Applicants must make sure to bring an updated resume. Make multiple copies of your resume in case there are several companies which interests you during the event.

Various job vacancies are available like call center positions, factory workers, sales, clerical work, hotel and restaurant job opportunities, and many more.

May 1, 2018 falls on a Tuesday this year. This is a National Regular Holiday, so per DOLE’s guide it’s double pay for daily paid workers who will work on this day.

From  POEA Job Fair Notices

If you can’t make it to the job fair venue on May 1 for any reason, don’t lose hope of landing a job this 2018 since there are vacancies and openings that you can apply to via online. Just make sure that you are not dealing with illegal recruiters or online job scams.

But for those near the venue and are looking for work, visit the job fair nearest you, who knows you could get lucky and be hired on Labor Day!

For those who needs more info on a particular job fair, you may try to contact the local PESO office. For those events that will be conducted in SM, you may try to check the Facebook page of the SM mall which will host a job fair.

What to bring to the job fair?

iSensey suggest that you bring multiple copies of the following documents when you attend the recruitment fair: updated resume, TOR or high school diploma, 2 x 2 ID pictures, any TESDA certificate if you have one, NBI or POLICE clearance if you have one, employment certificate if you have one.
