Paying for your BPI credit card bills has become easier thru GCash. There is no enrollment needed!
However, if the bill is already overdue, it is best to pay it over the counter at any branch of the Bank of the Philippine Islands.
Follow this tutorial on how to use GCash to pay for a BPI credit card bill. We will try our best to upload a Youtube video of the bills-payment process in the future.
ISENSEY GUIDE
First, Login to your Gcash account, make sure there is enough funds available to pay for the credit card bill. If available fund is not enough, load your Gcash first.
Second, click “Pay Bills”.
Third, a category of billers is displayed, click “Credit Cards”.
Fourth, credit card companies payable using GCash are listed on this page. Scroll down until you see ‘BPI credit card’, click it.
Fifth, enter the details required by GCash, namely BPI account number or credit card number (16-Digit number at the front of your card), Account Name, Amount to Pay, Email. Then hit ‘next’ to go to the next page.
*Email is optional but we strongly suggest that you enter an email address, this way you will also receive a copy of the payment confirmation in your email.
Sixth, all the details you entered in the previous page will be displayed. Go over and check for accuracy. Click “Confirm” if all details are correct. *Once you clicked confirmed, there is no going back!
Seventh, the credit card payment will be processed, once successful, the page will refresh and will display the “payment confirmation page”. Take note of the transaction number or you may also screenshot the page.
*At this point, your GCash account will automatically be deducted equal to the amount you paid for the card.
You will also get an SMS or txt message with the details of the BPI credit card payment using GCash, plus you will also get an email from GCash detailing the same. See this screenshot to see a sample message coming from Globe GCash:
As of this time, convenience fee is waived to use this service by Gcash.
When will the payment be reflected in your credit card statement? Based on our experience, it took two working days to see the payment reflected on our BPI credit card account.
The GCash transaction history will be updated with the bills payment within 2 banking days too.
How to have a GCash account?

REBATES and PROMOS
Sometimes there are GCash bills payment rebate offers. Keep your eye out for app notifications about those rebate programs and if there is one, try your best to time your credit card bills payment during said promotion. Getting free money is welcome, right?
An alternative way to pay BPI credit card bills is to enroll your card in bpiexpressonline.com bills payment facility. You will be able to use your BPI savings or checking account to pay any BPI credit card bill once you see “BECC” in the list of enrolled billers.
In case you are wondering, one can’t pay a BPI credit card bills using a BDO account, Union Bank account, etc.
This guide can also be used to pay other credit card bills via GCash, on the fourth step, just choose the cc provider you want to pay.
Pay your credit card bills ahead of time especially if there are holidays and long weekends coming-up close to your billing due date.
