How To Access PhilHealth MDR and Posted Contributions via Online Portal

PhilHealth Member’s Portal is back online this 2021. Members may now access the website of the Philippine National Health Insurance Program after it was inaccessible for several months.

This government agency has made improvements to their website including a much more friendly user interface plus there are other information previously unavailable with the old portal. So good job Philhealth!

What we want to see next or what we suggest is for Philhealth to also show all the benefit claims filed and approved for members, so if there is any discrepancy, the member can call the attention of Philhealth. This is also for transparency.

What You Can Do Inside PhilHealth Member’s Portal

Philhealth member inquiry can be done online!

These are the things members can do while inside the PhilHealth Member’s dashboard:

  1. Access Philhealth MDR online, download and print it.
  2. Access the list of all contributions made to Philhealth from the very first contribution up to the latest. This is a great improvement introduced by the agency.
  3. Access Member’s Information.
  4. Access user profile to see the Philhealth number, registered email, and mobile number.
  5. Access list of dependents.

For those who are already registered in the website of Philhealth, you can access the members dashboard via these steps:

First, go to this government agency’s website www.philhealth.gov.ph.

Second, click on Online Services.

Third, click on Member Portal to Login.

Fourth, key-in the Philhealth ID number, password, and the displayed captcha.

Fifth, click Login.

PhilHealth Online Login

For those who forgot the password, just click the “Forgot password” link and then wait for the email from Philhealth.

For those who already have PhilHealth number but no access to the ePortal, create an account first on the website.

For those who are not yet a member of Philhealth, go to a branch to register. Previously, interested individuals can sign-up to Philhealth via electronic registration form to get a Philhealth number. However, per our check today January 13, 2021 the electronic registration page is down, it is still under maintenance. So it’s recommended to go to a branch for enrollment.

Paying for 2021 PhilHealth Contribution

Per the IRR of the Universal Health Care Law, there is supposed to be an increase for Philhealth contribution starting January 2021. However, President Duterte has stepped-in and said that the contribution hike will be postponed considering that Filipinos are still suffering from the economic effects of the pandemic.

If the Philhealth increase will push through, from the minimum contribution of P300, it will become P350 monthly.

An iSensey team member paid his Philhealth contribution for January to June 2021 last December 2020 via SM Business Center. Inside the member’s area, he can see that the very first contribution he made to Philhealth was in May 2001. He can also see the most recent payments for January to June 2021.

This is the snapshot of his Philhealth Member Contribution Payment History:

Philhealth Contributions Accesible via Website

Take note that there was a delay in the crediting of the contribution. It was only after one month when his January to June 2021 contributions were posted as seen on the Philhealth portal.

Posting of contribution is not instantaneous like in SSS as of now, but we believe that this government agency will improve the lead-time on posting of contributions eventually.

The delay could also be because of the confusion on whether or not the contribution increase for Philhealth starting 2021 will push through or not.

Don’t miss paying your PhilHealth contribution. This agency can help you in times of medical emergencies requiring hospitalization. As of now, doctor’s consultation and laboratories are not yet included in the benefits but in the future it could be especially once all the provisions of the Universal Health Care Law (Republic Act No. 11223) is fully implemented.

Don’t have a Philhealth ID yet? Register for a Philhealth number by going to any branch of the agency. Previously, online registration is okay but the form is not accessible as of this time.

Access the Philhealth portal to get info on contributions made and download mdr.
