BANK TO BANK TRANSFER Unionbank EON to BDO via ONLINE
Step 1: Login to your Unionbank online access.
Step 2: At the top navigation, click “Transactions” then find “Local Peso Transfer” on the left sidebar, click it.
Step 3: The Local Peso Transfer page will load.
Fill up all the required details. Click this link if you want to see the full-size screenshot: Unionbank Local Peso Transfer page
3.1 If you have multiple Unionbank accounts, choose the one you want to use to make the transfer.
3.2 If this is the first time you will transfer to this person, choose “New Beneficiary”.
3.3 Add the beneficiary’s name
3.4 Add the beneficiary’s complete bank account number.
*BDO account number is 12; add “00s” before the account number if you only have 10 digits. Example: 001234567890
3.5 Click “LookUp” to search and select the beneficiary’s bank name.
*You can find BDO or “Banco de Oro” on page 2 of the Unionbank’s list of banks in the “LookUp” page.
If you want to see the FULL SIZE SCREENSHOT, visit this link.
3.6 Click the circle before correct bank’s name to select it.
3.7 Finalize it by clicking “Select” button at the bottom portion of the page.
3.8 Click the box if you want to add as a ‘Beneficiary’ the person you are currently transferring funds to. Usually this is done if you will regularly transfer fund to the same recipient, to save on typing time the next time you make a fund transfer.
3.9 Add any personal message.
3.10 Input Beneficiary Email
3.11 Input Beneficiary Address (as it appears on his bank details)
3.12 Input amount you want to online transfer from Unionbank to BDO.
3.13 This is a drop-down menu, choose one time if this is a one-off money transfer. Choose regularly and then the schedule if you plan to transfer periodically to the same recipient and same account number.
*This is useful for fix transfers, like sending P10,000 to your parents every 16th of the month.
3.14 Don’t touch this if you want your Unionbank to BDO local peso fund transfer to be processed immediately. Otherwise, you can adjust this a date you prefer for the transfer process to begin.
3.15 You can add message or additional note on the ‘Remarks’ page.
3.16 Review all data. If every detail is correct, click on “Continue”
CONFIRM TRANSFER PAGE
Step 4: After clicking continue, the Confirm Transfer Page will load.
*All details of the transfer will be displayed. It’s best to recheck and re-verify accuracy of all details.
The full-size screenshot is on this page.
4.1. Add remarks if you have further message or note for yourself or recipient.
4.2 Input your Unionbank Transaction Password to authorize the fund transfer to the other bank. In our sample, to transfer money EON to BDO online.
4.3 Click Submit. The online fund transfer process will start.
You can’t undo from hereon, so be very careful especially that you can’t take back your fund transfer once you click submit.
Successful Transfer Unionbank to BDO
Step 5: The Acknowledgment Screen will load.
You can see again the details of the successful bank to bank fund transfer online. The Transaction Status also says “Success”.
For full-size screenshot: SEE HERE
Step 6: You can download a copy of the Acknowledgment Screen for your file in PDF format. Or you can just screenshot your computer screen to capture an image of your bank to bank online transfer.
You will also receive a confirmation email in the email connected to your Unionbank account about the bank to bank transfer instruction you’ve just made.
Your recipient will also receive an email from Unionbank about the money being transferred to his BDO account.
Special Notes:
- Unionbank does not charge a fee for doing local peso transfer to another bank via online transaction.
- BDO will charge P200 for inward local remittance. In our actual sample, recipient received P99,800 only instead of P100,000.
*Amount that will be received by BDO recipient is 200 LESS than the amount you sent via EON.
- *BPI will charge P150 for inward local remittance.
- The recipient will receive the money transfer after one banking day. The actual transaction we did was yesterday April 27. The money is now in beneficiary’s BDO savings account after one banking day, which is today April 28.
- The process is basically the same if you want to transfer money from EON to another local bank aside from BDO like BPI, Metrobank, Security Bank, Landbank, etc.
Hope this online banking guide helps you Mary to finally process succesfull transfer from your EON account to a Banco de Oro account. Thank you for sending in your tutorial request! 😀

Hi,
I can’t seem to find the link of local peso transfer. It is not showing in my account. Is it because I am in Singapore and using another IP country that is why I don’t see it?
iSensey says
Hi Mae, that is weird, If you were able to log-on to Unionbank website, therefore the site isn’t block in Singapore, ergo you should be able to see all the links within Unionbank online. It might be best to contact Unionbank directly for your concern, this is their Universal Toll Free number: IAC+800-8277-2273.

hi Mae,
We have the same problem, also in my account no link for local peso transfer. You know a solution already? I’m also out of the country.
Shylyn Dimple Nadado says
Hi,
I did all of the steps correctly but it’s been 24 hours and I haven’t received my money on the other bank yet. Who could i possibly call for assistance?
iSensey says
Hi Shylyn, we hope by now the money is already credited to your BDO account. Sometimes delays happened if there is a PESOnet system maintenance during the transfer. If you haven’t seen the money successfully transferred yet, call Unionbank. If you’ve got an Unionbank ATM card, the toll free/contact number is at the back.
