COMPLETE INFO for Philippine Holidays for 2019 – Regular and Special Non-Working

Philippine Holidays 2019 List

Malacanang has proclaimed the national holidays in the Philippines for 2019 under Proclamation No 555.

The list of holidays is very useful in computing for wages with holiday premium plus in plotting vacations for next year.

Find on this list the following PH holidays:

  • Regular Holiday
  • Special Non-Working Holiday

There will be a separate announcement forEid’l Fit’r 2019 (already declared by Malacanang)and Eid’l Adha 2019 sometime June, July, or August next year. iSensey will update this post when the declared dates are confirmed by President Duterte.

 

LIST OF PHILIPPINE HOLIDAYS 2019

January 1, 2019 (Tuesday) – New Year Celebration. Regular Holiday.

February 5, 2019 (Tuesday) – Chinese New Year . Special Non-Working Holiday.

February 25, 2019 (Monday) – EDSA People Power Revolution. Special Non-Working Holiday.

April 9, 2018 (Tuesday) – The Araw ng Kagitingan. Regular Holiday.

April 18, 19, 20, 2019 (Thursday to Saturday)  Holy Week 2019.

  • April 18 – Maundy Thursday. Regular Holiday
  • April 19 – Good Friday. Regular Holiday
  • April 20 – Black Saturday. Special Non-Working Holiday

May 1, 2019 (Wednesday) – Labor Day 2019. Regular Holiday.

(Updated) June 5, 2019 (Wednesday) – Eid’l Fitr Feast of Ramadhan 2019

June 12, 2019 (Wednesday) – Philippine Independence Day. Regular Holiday.

(Updated) August 12, 2019 (Monday) – Eid’l Adha, Feast of the Sacrifice. Regular Holiday.

August 21, 2019 (Wednesday) – Ninoy Aquino Day. Special Non-Working Holiday.

August 26, 2019 (last Monday of August) – National Heroes Day. Regular holiday.

November 1, 2019 (Friday) – All Saints Day celebration. Special Non-working holiday.

November 2, 2019 (Saturday) – All Souls Day. Additional special non-working holiday.

November 30, 2019 (Saturday) – Bonifacio Day, a regular holiday.

December 8, 2019 (Sunday) – Feast of the Immaculate Concepcion. Special non-working holiday.

December 24, 2019, (Tuesday) – Christmas Eve, additional special (non-working) holiday for.

December 25, 2019 (Wednesday) – Christmas Day. Regular holiday.

December 30, 2019, (Monday) – Rizal Day. Regular holiday.

December 31, 2018 (Tuesday) – Last day of the year, a special non-working holiday.

There are few long weekends next year compared to the long weekends of 2018. Most PH holidays falls on weekends or middle of the week.

If you are working now, know more about holiday premium pays for daily paid employees.

Wait for the proclamation for the dates of the Muslim religious holidays, Eid’l Fitr and Eid al Adha that will be set for next year.
