Civil Service Exam Schedules for CSE-Pen and Paper Test

The Philippines Civil Service Commission will be conducting Civil Service Examinations Pen and Paper Test twice a year.  Refer to the exam schedules shared on this post.

Applicants can also take the CSE COMEX test if it is the preferred method of exam.

Normally, CSC conducts two Civil Service Exams Pen and Paper Test every year. The first CSE – PPT Career Service Examination is set this coming March 12, 2017 and the second one will be on August 6, 2017. Those who plan to take the Professional or the Sub-Professional levels test must prepare and submit the requirements before application deadline, the earlier the better.

Students who graduated with honors (at least Cum Laude) from any Philippine Universities or Colleges is automatically eligible for Civil Service provided they meet other basic requirements like he/she has not been found guilty of any crime, etc. There is no need for this group to take the Civil Service Examination, this is covered under PD No. 907.

CSE APPLICATION FILING for 1st Exam Schedule this 2017

The Civil Service Commission will start accepting applications beginning November 14, 2016 up to January 13, 2017 for those who wants to take the CSE – PPT Test on March 12, 2017.

There will be various testing centers per region, kindly refer to the list below.

It would be best to contact the branch or testing center where you plan to take the Civil Service Exam for 2017 to inquire about the exact address and location of the testing venue.

For those who wants to take the 2nd CSE Pen and Paper Test for 2017:

Exam schedule is August 12, 2017.

Application Period is from April 3 to June 2, 2017

CSE APPLICATION FILING for 2nd Exam Schedule this 2017

The second round of Civil Service Exam will be this coming August 6, 2017. Filing of applications for the 2nd schedule of CSE is from April 3, 2017 to June 2, 2017 only. This exam is for the Pen and Paper Test (PPT).

The testing centers for the first and second Civil Service Exam schedules 2017 differ a bit, be guided.

Region 7 – Cebu City, Bogo City, Dumaguete City, Tagbilaran City

Region 8 – Tacloban City, Catarman (Northern Samar), Maasin City
