You can pay utility bills* by using your BDO credit card via the Charge on Demand payment facility. No enrollment needed.
First thing first, you must have a BDO online access. Second, your BDO credit card must already be connected in your BDO online access.
*You will know if you have your BDO credit card in your internet banking if you can see a dedicated section just for your cc. This is usually placed after your registered savings and checking account(s), just before the Investment / UITF section.
Third, you have a copy of the billing statement you wish to pay for. You cannot use BDO Charge on Demand facility if the bill is overdue. Also, note that the processing of payment can take up to 3 banking days. Which means that if the payment due date is very near, it is best to find an alternative payment method.
SECTION A: Can you pay for other person’s bills?
Yes, you can. You can pay the bill of any one using your BDO credit card via this special payment facility. You typically just need the following info:
- Company or Biller’s name or Payee’s name
- Subscriber name
- Subscriber’s account number
- Your BDO credit card (you can select this from a drop-down menu)
- Amount to be Paid
- Payment Due Date
- Contact number
- Landline number
If you offer Loading services, you can now also offer bills payment services to your customers as long as the amount to be paid is at least P300 and is not past due.
Per BDO “No limit to the number of bills you can settle! Pay as many bills as you can through Charge On Demand”.
To use this facility, aside from the minimum P300 current amount due, you must also have sufficient balance in your credit card to cover the payment. Plus, the bill/s you wish to pay is/are not enrolled in any existing Auto Charge Facility (with BDO, other credit card company or banks), this is to avoid double payment.
SECTION B: What are the included utilities in Charge on Demand?*
As of September 2017, these are the partner billers or utility companies which you can pay the current bills of using your BDO credit card. NO NEED FOR ENROLLMENT to your internet banking account. You can just charge the amount due on your credit card and then pay on demand:
- PLDT
- MERALCO
- GLOBEHANDYPHONE
- SMART MOBILE
- IGITEL
- SKY CABLE
- SUN CELLULAR
- BAYANTEL
- MAYNILAD WATER SERVICE

Thanks for sharing! Any idea what will happen if you put an incorrect due date? The bill was already over by then for a day or two. Will the transaction be automatically cancel since wrong date was typed in and its overdue? Thanks!
iSensey says
Hi Mariella, it’s best to call BDO for your concern to be 100% sure. But we think, no cancellation will happen because the system only knows the due date that you yourself entered.

Hi, I followed your steps above but mine has a different bill payment/charge on demand page under your step 4. The details under my bill payment/charge on demand page are pay from (credit card selection), name of payee (without Meralco, PLDT & etc. under the drop down), amount, billing due date, subscriber number, and subscriber name. These are the only companies under the name of payee drop down: BDO Foundaion, Bantay Bata 163, Cablelink, Childhope Phils., Converge ICT Solution, Haribon Foundation. Prudential Guarantee Assurance Inc., Tagaytay Highlands International Golf Club Inc., Tagaytay Midlands Golf Club Inc., and The Country Club at Tagaytay Highlands Inc. Please advise what could be wrong. Thanks.
