On the official Facebook page of the AFP Civil Relations Service, our country’s defenders are now looking to add more troops to beef up our force in the ongoing campaign against terrorists and other lawless elements.

The AFP is looking to add about 5,500 more troops which will be assign in the Army, Navy, or Airforce.

Philippine Navy is looking to add 1,000 soldiers (rank: Apprentice Seaman).

Philippine Airforce is looking to add 1,000 soldiers (rank: Airman / Airwoman).

The salary being offered to work as a Private in the Army, Apprentice Seaman in the Navy, and Airman/Airwoman in the Airforce is P29,668.00. There are other benefits if you become a soldier.

For those who are interested to apply, please check the qualifications first to know details on age limit, educational attainment, physical and medical requirements, etc.

Philippine Army Qualifications and Requirements – Visit the nearest field recruitment office of the Army. See this separate iSensey post on the Army qualifications.

Philippine Navy Qualifications and Requirements – Check the Navy qualifications. You can also visit the nearest field recruitment office of the Navy for complete details.

Philippine Airforce Qualifications and Requirements – Visit the nearest field recruitment office of the Airforce for complete details.

Our recommended next move for you is to VISIT the nearest field recruitment center to speak with a recruitment officer especially if you have lots of questions or concerns.

Example: to ask if your education attainment can be considered, if you can be exempted due to age or height, if you did not undergo rotc if it is acceptable, etc.

For inquiries you may also try to call (02) 911 6001 local 5656 or visit the website of Armed Forces of the Philippines Civil Relations Service.

May you be successful in your bid to join the Armed Forces of the Philippines. May you become one of our country’s gallant soldiers!
